Terms of Service & Service Level Agreement
Last updated: October 20, 2026
The contractual terms governing OpenLiti press release distribution in Vietnam, including publication timelines, content warranties and the 100% refund guarantee.
1. Scope
These Terms govern all media placement and press release distribution services provided by OpenLiti ("Services"). A written quotation, invoice or confirmation of scope forms part of these Terms. Where a signed master services agreement exists, that agreement prevails.
2. Ordering and payment
Fees are quoted in US dollars per article and confirmed in the written quotation. Invoices are issued before publication; taxes, duties or bank fees applicable in your jurisdiction are the client's responsibility unless stated otherwise.
Work begins when payment is received. Placements are reserved for the publishing window confirmed in writing.
3. Service levels
- Publication window: 24–48 hours from written approval of the final Vietnamese text for standard outlets. Outlets requiring extended editorial review receive an individual timeline before work starts.
- Approval of final copy: we do not submit to a newsroom until you approve the translation or, where you opt for our approval-on-your-behalf service, until we send the final text to you for a 24-hour review.
- Reporting: live URLs and an acceptance report (PDF) are delivered within one business day of publication.
- Communication: enquiries are answered within one business day (Monday–Friday, excluding Vietnamese public holidays).
4. Publication guarantee and refunds
If a publisher declines the article for editorial reasons unrelated to your content, we will (a) place the article on an equivalent outlet from the same package at no extra cost, or (b) refund 100% of the fee for that placement. You choose the remedy.
The guarantee does not apply where the release is rejected because it breaches our Editorial & Content Guidelines (for example unlawful, gambling, political-sensitivity or adult content), or where you withdraw approved copy after submission. In those cases we refund the publisher fee minus translation and editorial work already performed, and we explain the reason in writing.
If an article is removed by a publisher after publication for reasons attributable to your content, no refund is due. If removal is unrelated to your content, we arrange republication on an equivalent outlet.
5. Your responsibilities and warranties
By submitting a press release you confirm that:
- You own or are licensed to use all text, images, logos and trademarks in the material.
- The content is accurate, not misleading, and contains no unsubstantiated medical, financial or legal claims.
- You hold any required regulatory approval for products in restricted sectors (finance, health, education, alcohol, real estate).
- You are authorised to represent the brand named in the release.
6. Intellectual property
You retain all rights to the content you supply. You grant OpenLiti a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to translate, edit, format and submit the material to the outlets you select for the purpose of performing the Services.
The Vietnamese translation we produce may be used by you for the placed article and for internal reference. Resale or redistribution of our translated text to other providers is not permitted without written consent.
7. Liability
We are responsible for placing your approved content as described in the confirmed scope. We do not control, and are not liable for, editorial decisions, ranking, traffic, referral performance or subsequent policy changes of third-party publishers.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the affected placement. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Article permanence and publisher control
Under the current operating model of Vietnamese news sites, an article is archived permanently on the publisher's system once it is published. Editorial control and moderation remain entirely with the newsroom, so we make no warranty and accept no liability for how long an article stays online after publication and acceptance, including where it is removed as a result of internal review, policy changes, a request from a competent authority, or a breach of content or URL rules.
By using the Service you confirm that you understand this mechanism, accept the risk arising from third parties, and agree to release us from any claim for compensation once the article has been published successfully.
9. Termination, governing law and contact
Either party may terminate a placement before submission with written notice; work performed up to that point remains payable. These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Before litigation, the parties will attempt good-faith resolution for 30 days. Disputes not resolved in that period may be brought before the competent court in Vietnam.
